Last weekend my husband came home from a boys weekend camping. He surprised me by giving me this gorgeous flower. Sadly its not really come out at all but I think it might sit on the side board in plain proud view until it disintergrates with age. Heis not really a flower man so it makes it all the more special!

We also took a great walk around on of Berlins wonderful lakes.  There were these trees that looked like they were about to run off.

The weather has been doing its usual spring thing... but look how wonderful it is??

I was so pleased to capture it beside my orchids. Are they not lovely? I am not really an orchid lover- they were both given to me and I struggle with them all the time. Pesky little beautiful things- they have far too much say. But I have to grudgingly admit I am fond of them....

I bought these tulips and wow, are they not gorgeous?? I could see that when they were closed it would be pretty when they opened but not like this!! I have to dig about and see if I can find out what they are called. Also the best thing is they smell!! Just like honey. I am in love!!

It is all about the snow at the moment. I heard that it was ment to snow again quite heavily before the weekend but Berlin is such an odd place for weather. It is one type of weather on one side and something different on the other side. I very suspicious about the heavy snow- unless there is a storm tonight!! Then again maybe I am misinterperating the way they convey their weather here- maybe it is a social thing to over exaggerate...
