Typography and distraction...

So the typography challenge is going really well but I don't believe I am going to finish it in time!! There are a billion other things I have my hands working on and not to mention the bug (aka monster, shark, and beast) doesn't give me much free time.

Ok, so far...

I found the solid colours with the letters too much so I trimmed them down and added some white.... I did actually sew them all together and now it is one nice solid side. The back side will be the numbers. I suppose I am making nice headway!

But distraction, distraction!

Looky! trimmings! So I started messing about....

Oh dear.

And then I have this project...

Picking apart military clother is harder than it looks. They are really well sewn- I know, I know, must be but seriously well sewn. I think I have seam ripped my fingers more than the pants and shirts! I could just cut them... maybe I will in the end but it is working.

What I find interesting is all the different camoflage types... I have desert, German, American and I think air force? Really amazing how they all differ. Shame I can't get more forign ones but they cost a lot.

Look- a pen pocket! On the sleeve? Hmm, but still, love it. Great feature, keep that one.

Then if all that messing about wasn't enough...

I am making this one shirts- have a planned pair of camoflage trousers for him and I made that shirt. Need to make some more...

GAH! No time!
