This is a project I was most pleased with. I made the book by hand and made it a small fabric cover. Since at the time I had no sewing machine I did all the sewing by hand.... I went through my scrap bag and found a fantastic owl face looking quite indignantly at me... so I sewed it on and then everything else fell into place.
